Also introduces 2 new card packs, 4 new languages!It’s a new month and we have added new strategy cards! Today’s update adds nearly 100 all-new strategy cards to Stronghold Kingdoms, each affecting a different area of gameplay. The more powerful and rare of these cards also fall under the new card tiers of Double Diamond, Triple Diamond and Sapphire. Here are a few highlights:

Flag – Instantly gains a flag for the Parish

Expert Discipline – Armies move much faster across the map

Protection – Increases the length of interdiction given by monks

Excommunication – Increases the length of any issued excommunications

Extra Tax – Collects more gold in taxes from your villages

Ancient Farmer – High, long boost to all food production

Also featured in our 2.0.4.1 March update is the introduction of two new cards packs, the Super and Ultimate Random Packs! These new card packs work in the same way as the standard Random Pack but generally contain less Silver rank cards, with a greater chance of rare cards. The Super Random Packs gives players a chance to find rare Diamond and Double Diamond Cards, such as Super Tax and Expert Carters. The Ultimate Random Pack meanwhile allows players the chance to obtain even more valuable cards, belonging to the Triple Diamond and Sapphire tiers. These include some of the most powerful cards in all of Kingdoms, such as Expert Politics and Expert Castle Designer.

In addition, we are proud to announce that we have added Polish, Turkish, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese in-game text to Stronghold Kingdoms! You can expect new game worlds and customer support for these languages later this year.

The Kingdoms Team plans to add even more cards, features and tweaks to the game over the course of the year, building on the fundamental strengths of the game. Next on our list is a Spring Gameplay Update, which will introduce rebalanced Captain Tactics, saveable attack formations and more!
