Improved Captains Tactics, House Proclamations, The Daily Pillage and Polish Game World!

Captains are important. These top-tier units aren’t cheap, but they allow players to take part in the mid and end-game of buying, capturing and razing villages. Part of what makes them so special is their ability to use Tactics, effecting the ebb and flow of a battle. Until now Delay has been the popular choice amongst players, but the Spring Gameplay Update aims to rebalance the remaining 4 powers, thereby encouraging players to put all 5 powers to use in the heat of battle!

Each power has been tweaked and improved to give your Captain a fighting chance. Damage and duration have been increased and other tweaks made too, such as the ability to aim Arrow and Catapult Volleys in the way you would with Catapult units. In addition to the improved Captains Tactics, House Proclamations have made their way into the game giving House Marshalls the ability to send daily Proclamations to their House members. To do so Marshalls must navigate to their House Screen and click “Send Proclamation” at the bottom of the screen. The Proclamation can then be written and distributed like a normal in-game mail. Please note that Marshalls are limited to one House Proclamation every 24 hours.

On the community side we have added The Daily Pillage, a player news page designed to showcase the best player news stories submitted by our illustrious Lords and Ladies. We want to spread news of your heroic (or villainous) deeds far and wide and to do so we need the most interesting, heroic, funny and epic Stronghold Kingdoms stories you have to offer. The only condition is that the story must be about something that happened in-game.

We are also happy to announce that a new Polish language game world is now live!

Also featured in the Spring Gameplay Update is the ability to copy and paste text from in-game mail. In addition a new feature has been added which causes the Kingdoms application icon to flash in the taskbar when the View Attacks tab is glowing and the game is not the active app.
