“Italy and the Adriatic” is an all-new game world featuring eight different countries: Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro. “Mondo 1”, the name of the world in-game, allows the Lords and Ladies of Stronghold Kingdoms to build their castles and villages on a detailed map of modern Italy and its Adriatic neighbors. As always the correct names of countries, cities and regions have been used, allowing players from these countries to stake their claim on native soil.

Please note that the official language of this new world will be Italian, with complete Italian language support both in-game and on our support site, where we will provide technical support for players in Italian. An Italian forum has also been opened to help players form alliances and create devious strategies.
